Linda Abbott - Bulwell EAZ Manager

My role is to co-ordinate all the Zone projects, continue existing partnerships and encourage new ones. I continue to facilitate head teacher and network group meetings, the Student council and organise a range of activities. I represent Bulwell schools on many local groups such as Bulwell Vision, Area 1 Committee and Sure Start, Bulwell.

Hello our names are Helen Habgood and Cheryl Scott.

Our role at Bulwell EAZ is to ease the Transfer and Transition of year 6 pupils who are going to attend The River Leen School or Henry Mellish School and Sports College.  We get to know the pupils by working with them at Year 6 in the Bulwell primary schools during the Spring and Summer terms. Sessions with them include work in small groups supporting the curriculum and providing activities designed to ease the transition to secondary school.  

During the Autumn term we support the pupils in their secondary school.  We offer home visits to parents or carers and work with a wide variety of other agencies to support the needs of particular pupils and we are responsible for the smooth transition of year 6 pupils into Henry Mellish and River Leen schools.
